FAQ
Common questions, straight answers.
Everything you need to know about working together — from scope and pricing to tools, timelines and what you can expect.
It depends on the engagement. A KPI review or AI-readiness assessment results in a written report with clear recommendations. A reporting project delivers working dashboards your team can use from day one. Ongoing advisory is scoped in sprints with tangible deliverables each time. You always get something you can act on — not just a conversation.
A focused KPI review or reporting sprint takes 2–4 weeks. A full data-organisation or BI-readiness project usually runs 6–10 weeks. We agree milestones and a fixed timeline before we start, so there are no surprises.
Both. Most work is done remotely to keep costs efficient. For kick-offs, workshops and handover sessions I am happy to travel within Germany and the DACH region. We agree the right mix at the start.
Power BI for dashboards and visual reporting. Python and SQL for data engineering and analysis. Excel and cloud warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake) where they fit the client's stack. I am tool-agnostic — the right choice depends on your existing systems and team skills.
All client data is treated as strictly confidential. I work under signed NDAs where required, use encrypted storage and transfer, and never share proprietary information. When possible, I work with anonymised or synthetic data to minimise exposure.
Small, scoped engagements (e.g. a KPI review) start around €3,000. A full reporting or data-organisation project typically ranges from €8,000 to €25,000 depending on scope and complexity. Every proposal is fixed-price and milestone-based — no open-ended hourly billing.
Yes — that is the default. I integrate with your existing data team, finance function or IT rather than replacing them. The goal is to leave your team stronger, with documented processes and working systems they can maintain.
AI readiness means your data, processes and reporting are clean and structured enough that AI and automation tools can deliver real value — not hallucinations. Most growing businesses are closer than they think, but a few gaps block reliable results. The readiness assessment identifies those gaps and prioritises them.
Yes. After handover I offer a 30-day support window included in the project fee. Beyond that, you can book an advisory retainer or ad-hoc sessions as needed. I also train your team so they are self-sufficient.
I work with growth-stage businesses — typically 30–300 employees — that have outgrown their early-stage reporting but are not yet ready for a full in-house BI team. If you are generating revenue, have operational complexity and want reporting that keeps up, you are likely in the sweet spot.
